In the spirit of the holidays I thought I would share a thank you that one of my students from Cal Arts, Michelle Manas, sent out after completing the principal photography of her thesis film. I thought it was a nice way to use You Tube and to create a more personal thank you than the standard email thanks I am always sending out!:
Sketch is fun website (click to open) where you can see how others draw. Someone draws a picture, and the site animates it so it is drawn before your eyes. Like magic! It also has tools to draw your own, and it’s really simple. Lots of colors too. Give it a whirl!
There certainly has not been enough good movies about cows. And surely I could find a few better ways to milk this photo. But whether it’s the bovine mutilation spectacular we all have been waiting for, or perhaps a post-modernist updating of “Heidi”, somethings got to be done with this. I mean, where else can you milk eight heifers in a single sitting?
