What Can You Shoot On A Cell Phone?

Anything! But this is pretty neat, particularly when they show you the rig after. Think of this a bit of a video game yarn.

A Good Yarn On How One Is NOT The Loneliest Number

Stop motion! Some may be a little intense for sub-7 yr old eyes but our 11 yr old censor says “all ages”. Fun and moving and about math too!

One Of The Best Short Films EVER!!!

Frank Film, Frank MOURIS, 1973 by shortanimatedworld

I can’t believe I have lived so long without having encountered this film before. It won an Oscar in 1973 for Best Animated Short. Even with the commercial interruption and poor resolution it made my list of Best Shorts ever. What’s on your list?

The First Pixar Short

Hope The Younger and I believe we have seen all the Miyazaki films now, including Animal Treasure Island, Lupin The 3rd, and Pom Poko. Our UrgeToComplete is turning us to Pixar, and luckily Anne Thompson tipped us to this the other week. “The Adventures Of Andre And Wally B” was the first Pixar short, way back when Pixar was a division of Lucas Film. Now the question is, have we seen every Pixar film? Once we check these boxes, we might as well move on to TheEntireHistoryOfFilmEVER!

Animation Is Inexpensive, at least right NOW.

This won’t be the only time I don’t know what I am blogging about.

Still though, this looked like something some of you would want to know about.  Chip Roughton of Rough Pictures wrote in and hipped me to this deal.  For what I can tell it looks like an opportunity to get a $500 studio level animation software set up for $10.00.   My quick scan for reviews also makes it look like a good deal.  So if enough people sign up, you can get Messiah 2.o for $10.
