Old Skool NYC Skateboard Videos

Before skateparks, before Supreme, before skating culture went mainstream, NYC was a wild and wooly beast. How can one not yearn for the bad old days, when punks on boards terrorized the hoards…

Can You Help Me Count All The Stars?

Why wait for bed to gaze at the stars? Feast your eyes on some of the glorious starscapes on display here! It seems it might be a tad better place to starwatch from outer space than having your feet firmly planted on our ground.

The Stars as Viewed from the International Space Station. from AJRCLIPS on Vimeo.

Words Can Not Describe… One Of The Best Music Videos Ever!

Long before I saw Nancy Sinatra, “These Boots Were Made For Walking” struck a chord with me (and that was long before QT reintroduced her to the fanboys). I have seen many of her performances available on line now, but this one resonates in a particularly unique way. Lee Hazelwood was a treasure.

Sublime Beauty: Ms. Faithful’s “As Tears Go By”

If we could see the future from the past, would we see it all in Marianne’s beauty on this clip? It’s not just the song: I find this beautiful and sad and full of information despite it’s simplicity.

And then compare & contrast with Marianne in 2010 (Thanks Mr. Rodman!)

The Perils Of NYC Bike Ownership

Having had my bike seat stolen (until I got a bike seat lock) and watched the sculptural change of many more unfortunate bikes over the years, this time lapse of one year in the life of a locked bike caught my fancy.
