Summer Is For Bubbles
Here’s a simple hack. Lost your bubble wand? Run into the deli and pick up two straws and twist them together as shown here, and presto! Giant bubbles to Mars! Indestructables is a fun website with plenty of neat projects for kids, and for grown-ups too.
NYC Ghost Subway Station
We have been anticipating our trip to the abandoned City Hall subway station for a couple of months now. We are going today! There’s a nice write up on the stop at Forgotten NY. Can’t wait! You have to join the Subway Museum to go.
Zoos Bring Out The Beast In Us

Snap a photo when you wait for your ride, then get home and send it on to them. Check them all out here.
Clean Water PSA
It’s a problem for all of us. What to do?
Totoro Forest Project
The forest on the edge of Tokyo that inspired Miyazake to create MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO is being threatened. Where does beauty go when we let it disappear? Hmmm.
I Worshipped John Lennon
