Is it? I am not sure how to measure this. But not only do I find myself frequently going back to it, every time I see a movie I love or one that is lacking I go back to this post for contemplation. I really should call it in the plural too because I did write an extension of it.
What transforms mediocre into good? Isn’t that one of the core questions for any creative person? Isn’t it how we evaluate the work before us? Today I will be speaking in Amsterdam on ” ” and then afterwards I will be hosting the second discussion on “ReInvent Hollywood”. This one is the current state of being a filmmaker and the specific changes we all face. They dovetail together pretty well, but damn, I am going to be exhausted come nightfall. The question of survival and sustainability are key to creation, but in the end it still always come down to the work and how do you make it better.
