The State And Future Of Independent Film

Where are we? Where are we going? What can be be hopeful about? What do we need to be concerned about?

Vanessa and I joined Michael Barker, Chaz Ebert, and Nate Kohn at Ebertfest on Saturday, April 26th to ponder these questions. It was 9A  so forgive me if I was a little sleepy and did not have much in the way of new material for you!

Nonetheless, it really reminded me of how critical it is for filmmakers to track some core issues.  And it was this post on current issues that got Chaz excited to have me out.  They remain all too true.  Let’s keep this conversation going.
